A new PV quota has been released!The Israeli PUA has released the 120MWp quota for small scale PV plant.
The new quota is affective from September 1st, for installation up to 50KWp.
This quota is expected to last 3-4 years or till 120MWp installations will be reached.

New directorate chairmam for SolapowerFeb 2010- Dr Joshua Rosensweig is the new chairman of Solarpower directorate.
Dr Rosensweig appointing, one of the founders of “RosenRam Business and Development” company, is a part of Solarpower preparation towards the medium size solar PV stations regulations, which was declared a month ago.
Dr Rosensweige will replace Mr Nimrod Gur from “Precede Technologies” company, who will remain a member of Solarpower directorate.

SolarPower will install a 50KWp for AspenSolarPower has signed a contract to supply and install a 50KWp system for Aspen real-estate Company.
It’s the first solar project of Aspen in Israel, following a previous announcement about sam e activity in Italy.
The contract guarantees Aspen an IRR of 10% for 20 years, taking into account all running costs (including operation and maintenance agreement with SolarPower) return of the bank loan.

First installation of solar production meter 2.9.2008 - The first system in Israel has been connected to a production meter of the Electricity Corporation.
The 2.7KWp system has been installed by SolarPower on a roof top in Moledet, and today the customer has signed the contract for selling the clean electricity to the Electricity Corporation.
