Aug 2010 - A 50KWp systems has installed on the roof top of Rotem Industries in Dimona.

The Israeli PUA has released the 120MWp quota for small scale PV plant.
The new quota is affective from September 1st, for installation up to 50KWp.
This quota is expected to last 3-4 years or till 120MWp installations will be reached.

Feb 2010- Dr Joshua Rosensweig is the new chairman of Solarpower directorate.
Dr Rosensweig appointing, one of the founders of “RosenRam Business and Development” company, is a part of Solarpower preparation towards the medium size solar PV stations regulations, which was declared a month ago.
Dr Rosensweige will replace Mr Nimrod Gur from “Precede Technologies” company, who will remain a member of Solarpower directorate.

Jan 2010 – The Public utility Authority has published the new regulations for medium size solar PV stations. A feed-in-tariff of 1.49 NIS/KWh for a quota of 300MWp is now available.

Jan 2010- SolarPower informed today at the Kibutzs Conference
about it’s new solar project of 10 MWp solar systems on the roofs
and ground of Kibutz Nir Yitschack at the Negev area.

Nov 2009- a 100KWp system has installed on an industrial roof in Afula.

Nov 2009 - SolarPower has installed another 50KWp system for Yevulim, this time in Masmiya junction.

Oct 2009 - SolarPower had installed 6 systems of 50KWp each in Ramat-HaGolan.

19.8.09 - A new 50KWp systems has installed on a roof in SolarPower’s residence

18.9.09- SolarPower has signed an agreement for 3 more systems to be installed on Aspen’s buildings.

20.7.2009 - SolarPower has installed a 50KWp system on Dor-Alon Gealia station.

17.5.2009 - SolarPower has inagurated the first commercial system in Israel using using SunPower modules.
The system size is 50KWp, installed over a dairy farm roof.

SolarPower has signed a contract to supply and install a 50KWp system for Aspen real-estate Company.
It’s the first solar project of Aspen in Israel, following a previous announcement about sam e activity in Italy.
The contract guarantees Aspen an IRR of 10% for 20 years, taking into account all running costs (including operation and maintenance agreement with SolarPower) return of the bank loan.

2.1.2009 - The first solar system on a patrol station has been inaugurated on in Maale Adumim.
The system size is 18KWp, and it is expected to produce about 50% of the total power consumption of the station.

A 30KWp system has been installed on a dairy farm in Moshav Yinon

2.9.2008 - The first system in Israel has been connected to a production meter of the Electricity Corporation.
The 2.7KWp system has been installed by SolarPower on a roof top in Moledet, and today the customer has signed the contract for selling the clean electricity to the Electricity Corporation.
